Douglas Adams Talks About Animals

If you don’t know who Douglas Adams was you have already made a terrible mistake. He was one of the most brilliant comedic writers of the 20th Century and wrote a trilogy of five books called The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, which has had a profound influence on my life, and a huge number of others as well I am sure. It is at once a philosophical rant on the nature of the universe and a thesis on the importance of the number 42.

This is a talk he gave in 2001 on his adventures searching for animals.
